These beautiful, high-quality training swords are the newest offering by Hanwei, manufacturer of the durable "practical" line of rebated swords. We have a very few number in stock and they are very hard to get, so take a look and, if you want one, order soon!

The "Tinker" hand-and-a-half or bastard sword has been modelled and carefully quality controlled by Tinker himself, one of the U.S.'s most renowned sword-makers. Ground from high-carbon steel and painstakingly heat-treated, the "tinker" moves with a deceptive lightness. Featuring a longer handle than is found on the Hanwei practical, and with a more accomodating pommel, the acutely tapered blade flexes nicely, but also has a rigidity through most of the blade that the "practical" and other rebated swords lack. The cross is long and straight, and the blade is nicely fullered. You can definitely count this is a "performance" practice sword. For those working on advanced technique it is particularly nice since the light weight gives superior control. It is longer than the "practical" as well, and the balance-point is extremely nice, about 5" from the hilt.

And, it comes with a nice leather-covered scabbard with tip and chape, itself nicely detailed.
