PEWTER Fiore dei Liberi BELT STUDS
Animals from Fiore dei Liberi's Sego, made in pewter as belt studs. These are the same as our brass studs, but done in pewter. Two mounting studs allow these studs to be attached to your belt, pouch, etc.
Fiore dei Liberi was a master of swordsmanship whose surviving treatises, which include the Fiore di Battaglia (flower of battle), guide many modern students as they pursue historical swordsmanship as a martial art.
Fiore's segno discusses the four cardinal virtues required of a swordsman, and by wearing the animals on a combatant's belt, they might be reminded of the qualities exemplified by each animal.

Pewter was commonly used for middle- and lower- orders of society as a less expensive alternative to copper alloy. Our pewter is lead-free and made in the USA. Comes with eight studs per package.
The largest stud is 1.25" wide, while most are closer to 1" and they are 7/8" tall. Each package contains two of each animal: two European lynxes (judgment), two lions (audacity or courage), two tigers (initiative or speed), and two elephants (stability, strength).
