These fine gauntlets were inspired by the finds at the Wisby battle site, dating to 1361. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to own a set of finger gauntlets that are in stock and ready to ship.

Constructed from 1050 tempered spring steel, these gauntlets incorporate more than 50 plates; nearly 100 rosette rivets stand out from the leather.

The exterior plates are embossed both for strength and for attractiveness; brass gatlings and finger-tip plates are similar to those seen in Brian's Techniques of Medieval Armour Reproduction.

The current delivery time for WISBY style gauntlets is about 3 months from the time of the deposit. Deposits on WISBY gauntlets are non-refundable unless we cannot deliver for you within 90 days. As this is custom work, we cannot accept returns.
