Detailed Description
BRIGANDINE GORGET 14th - 15th century One size, fits 14.5" - 17" neck
Although there are no surviving examples of defenses for the neck, in our day combatants and martial artists need the best possible protection for the fragile neck.
Our brigandine gorget, pioneered and designed by Brian R. Price (Techniques of Medieval Armour Reproduction), provides stout, stylish defense for the neck, collarbones and cervical vertibrae using construction techniques common to the period.
There are copies of our gorget, but none have our details such as the buckle and rosette shown on the detail photo below.
